Prior Announcements
January 2, 2007 - This site (and the original 400+ page manuscript noted within this site) represent an elaboration of sorts and are part of work leading to a published book. For further awareness review the pages of this site and request a copy of the original manuscript. The concept for the book is to draw from this site and the original manuscript to produce Inherent Quality (Simplicity), a book of no more than 100 pages. The Elements of Style (Strunk and White, Fourth Edition) is a book of similar size that would be utilized in the process of writing Inherent Quality (Simplicity). Related goals include providing value through a book small enough and important enough that particular individuals might carry it in their pocket. We will update this page to let you know how to obtain a copy of the book when it is made available. You can also email questions about the site, original manuscript and pending book to info@inherentquality.com. Potential contributors and publishers are invited to send email as well. The email address can also be used to request an information session. For example: 'Inherent Quality, Present and Future, An Information Session'. Description: The session will provide participants with an understanding of inherent quality including examples of how it applies to the present, helps to manage complexity, energizes professionals, and contributes to shaping the future; overall the session will enable participants to identify, celebrate and enhance inherent quality within their organizations, products, services, processes, resources and so on. Other services may also be available upon request (e.g. such as related to initial services thinking noted on the Special Interests page). Please note at present this site does not represent a business. Rather the site was established as a means of increasing awareness of and contributors to a trend and movement. This site may not be updated as often in 2007 as the focus has turned more towards producing the inaugural book. Although we can not disclose details we will also be participating in the pre-release public quality assurance review of ITIL v3. In particular as requested we will be providing feedback to the appropriate board / individuals on Continual Service Improvement. To learn more about the upcoming ITIL v3, you can visit http://www.itil.co.uk/ where the project organization regularly publishes information about the ITIL Refresh.
